Want to get into SCMHRD ? But first, you need to navigate the admissions process. This blog post will equip you with everything you need to know about securing admission to the SCMHRD MBA program through the SNAP exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be a minimum graduate from any recognized University / Institution with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks for SC / ST) at graduation level

Appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) and secure a high score (cut-offs vary each year)

Work experience is not mandatory, but may strengthen your application.

Application Process

  •  Each student seeking admission to SCMHRD. MBA Programme must appear for SNAP Test, which is a common written test for the admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes.
  •  For SNAP Test information candidates need to log on to http://www.snaptest.org and register through the provided application window. Candidates have to apply for SNAP 2023 exam with an application fee of Rs. 2250/- and also have to apply for admission to SIBM Pune through the SNAP exam application form by paying extra application fee of Rs.1000/-
  • Preserve the Admit Card of SNAP Test for further selection process at SCMHRD. Appearing for the SNAP Test does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process at SCMHRD.

The Selection process for SCMHRD MBA Programme is carried out in two steps, i,e SNAP Test followed by Group Exercise, Personal Interview and WAT. The component for final selection are as follows

  1. SNAP SCORE- 50%
  2. WAT- 10%
  3. PI- 30%
  4. GROUP EXERCISE- 10%

Placements

The institute has successfully concluded final placements for the MBA batch 2021-23. The highest international and highest domestic package during placements 2023 stood at INR 67.60 LPA and INR 35.02 LPA, respectively. The average package offered during SCMHRD MBA placements 2023 was INR 23.71 LPA. Further, more than 112 recruiters participated including 38 new recruiters in placements 2023. The BFSI sector emerged as a top sector with a 22% placement rate during placements 2023. 

In addition to this, the highest package and average package offered to MBA Business Analytics batch 2021-23 were INR 33.61 LPA and INR 22.03 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest package and average package offered to MBA Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM) batch 2021-23 were INR 27 LPA and INR 16.11 LPA, respectively.
