The Indian School of Business (ISB) celebrated the graduation of 866 students from 2024 Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) class at its Mohali and Hyderabad campuses.

Key Highlights from the report :

  • An unprecedented 394 firms have paticipated in placements,indicating a strong interest in ISB graduates.
  • A staggering 1,206 job offers were given, providing many students the opportunity to accept more than one offer. This indicates the high demand for ISB’s talented pool.
  • The graduating class represented a wide spectrum of backgrounds. Of the total, half (51%) were from non-engineering disciplines, while nearly half (49%) were engineers.
  • The class has work experience ranging from 2 to 24 years.
  • Remarkably, women made up to 40% of the group, demonstrating a significant female presence in the institute.
  • Graduates from ISB showed exceptional flexibility. To be particular, 71% of them moved between industries, and 75% between roles, demonstrating their adaptability to new professions.

Top Sectors: From the placement overall statistics we can get an insight. With almost 50% of the proposals, consulting and technology emerged as the most in-demand professions. 10% of the jobs were offered by the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors.

Companies actively sought candidates for different roles like product management (highest demand), sales & business development, and digital marketing & transformation.

International Offers: 25 international offers were extended to the students, providing them with exciting opportunities to work abroad.

Over 70 new companies participated in placements for the first time, including IDFC First Bank, India Sotheby’s, Stride Ventures, Target, and Tata Steel which indicates ISB’s growing industry connect.

Top Recruiters:

Several companies had made significant hiring decisions. Here are some of the top recruiters:

  • Triple-Digit Offers: Accenture and Deloitte led the pack with the highest number of offers (over 100 each).
  • Other Major Recruiters: Nagarro, Mckinsey, Navi Technologies, BCG, Ola, Merilytics, TVS Motor Company, Nykaa, Genpact, Unilever, and Reliance Industries also made substantial hiring decisions

Leading firms in several areas highly value the diverse student body, graduates’ adaptability, and preparation for the work settings. Being the first choice for prospective business leaders, ISB continues to receive an unprecedented amount of offers and cooperation from new recruiters.
