The term embark literally stands for beginning something new, to be more precise, getting on a ship. Every year India produces almost 3 lakh MBA graduates from almost 5000 B-Schools. Out of these, only the students graduating from the top 5% of the B-Schools have good or at least decent placements. The rest of the students go unplaced, again take up some courses or end up in not-so-fit jobs for the MBA. The sad part is MBA in India is a costly affair and many times students get into situations of debt trap and a couple of years of opportunity cost also.

One of the most influential business thinkers C.K Prahlad called “Fortune lies at the bottom of the pyramid”. On one end of the spectrum, There are a plethora of opportunities in the job market awaiting skilled minds with business acumen. On the other end, there are lakhs of unplaced MBAs because of lacking the skills which the industry demands. eMBArk aspires to bridge this skill gap. We are all passed-out MBA students, who have been in the same position and are now part of the industry. So we can clearly emphasize from both ends and upskill students with what the industry needs.
